Prize for outstanding stage directors, granted by the Israeli Section of the International Theatre Institute (I.T.I.) together with the Goethe Institut in Germany, in 1974.
Named a honorary member of the “Société Jacques Offenbach”, in France, in 1999, “for his achievements as a researcher”.
Named a honorary member of the “Jacques Offenbach Gesellschaft” in Bad Ems, Germany, 1999, “for his valuable contributions to the knowledge of Offenbach’s works”.
Named a honorary member of the “Jacques Offenbach Society”, in London, England, in 2001, “for the success of his research and the publication of his discoveries”.
