Juana Azurduy, the greatest heroine from South America and main hero of her country´s independency, fought agains the spanish empire loosing her husband and all her children. She rose all the indigenous population to a relentless war until achieving the definite victory over the Spanish. After the great war Bolivar gave his name to the nation that had been freed by Juana Azurduy: Bolivia.
