New York, NY —October 18, 2005— LaMicro Theater Company presents the scintillating Argentine comedy about the only agency in the world where you can hire a substitute mother. The English-language premier of MaTRIX Inc., by the prominent Argentine playwright Diana Raznovich, will be presented in New York City from November 10 through November 20 at 8:00 PM at The Arthur Seelen Theater, The Drama Book Shop, 250 West 40^th Street (Between 7^th and 8^th Avenues).

MaTRIX, Inc., is directed by Martín Balmaceda one of the founders of LaMicro Theater, and performed by Roberto Cambeiro, Pietro González and Berioska Ipinza.

• Pietro González plays Gloria, the Substitute Mother’s client
• Berioska Ipinza plays Una, MaTrix, Inc. Employee

For the ultimate birthday present to herself, Gloria goes to MaTRIX, Inc., which provides their clients with moms-for-a-day, entirely custom-made, every detail crafted according to the emotional needs of their clients.

Founded jointly by theater practitioners in New York City and Chicago, LaMicro Theater is now in its second year of existence. Its last production in the Chicago and New York areas was the English-language premiere of Chilean playwright Juan Radrigán’s Finished From the Start directed by Balmaceda. The company is dedicated to staging works by Spanish, Latin American and U.S. Latina/o playwrights who might otherwise remain under-produced.
