premier in Montevideo-Uruguay, under Mariana Percovich’s direction in May
1997. Juegos de Damas Crueles was
selected to participate in the I International Festival of Buenos Aires in
October 1997 and obtained three Florencio Sánchez awards to the best show, best
direction and best scenery (Montevideo, Uruguay - 1997). Ensayo

(Comedy. A master from Germany) (1998) Translates
Mahagonny Songspiel by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill for the
Experimentation Centre of the Teatro Colón (CETC), show opened in the CETC in
April of 1998 with Marcelo Lombardero’s régie and Carlos Calleja’s musical
direction. Fiscales
(Fiscals) (1997/98); written in collaboration with Javier Daulte. TV show
under the direction of Alejandro Maci. Tenebrae
(1999); opera about Paul Celan with music of Alejo Pérez Pouillieux and régie
of Rita Cosentino. Season 1999 of the Experimentation Centre of the Teatro Colón
(CETC). Tenebrae has been programmed for the II International Festival of
Buenos Aires (September of 1999). El

written and directed in collaboration with Luis Cano. Show inspired in Museo
de Armas de la Nación (National Weapons’ Museum) and included in Museos
V (University of Buenos Aires). La

(2000); written and directed in collaboration with Javier Daulte and Rafael
Spregelburd. Co-production of the Hebbel-Theater Berlin and the Complejo Teatral
de la ciudad de Buenos Aires (CTBA) (Theatre Complex of the city of Buenos
Aires). Premier in May 2001 in the theatre Callejón, Buenos Aires. Cine quirúrgico (Surgical cinema) (2001); text of the show conceived and directed by Edgardo Rudnitzky. Co-production of the CTBA. Premier in November 2001 at Theatre El Portón de Sánchez, Buenos Aires. Public reading at Frontera Festival, London, August 2002. El Orfeo (The Orpheus) (2001/2002) It’s May, it must be Brussels: 1. Unpacking / 2. Misguided Tour / 3.Quarrels / 4. Packing (2002); a serie of four performatic events on the city of Brussels and the KunstenFESTIVALdesArts, Brussels, Belgium, May 2002. Temperley (2002); text included in the cycle Biodrama, show directed by Luciano Suardi. Teatro Sarmiento, CTBA, july 2002. Prepares as author and director, with the collaboration of Edgardo Rudnitzky and Jorge Macchi, Carlos W. Sáenz (!956 - ), show that will be opened in may 2003 at the KunstenFESTIVALdesArts and presented later in Frankfurt and Berlin. Co production of KunstenFESTIVALdesArts (Brussels), Mousonturm (Frankfurt), Akademie Schloss Solitude (Stuttgart) and Hebbel–Theater, Berlin. Prepares with the composer Tiziano Manca The Cage, opera based in a short story by Ray W. C. Russell. To be premiered during the season 2003 (Germany / Argentina). Prepares with the composer Oscar Strasnoy an opera to be premiered in Paris in 2004. Prepares the theatrical version of the novel El Maestro y Margarita (The Teacher and Margarita) by Mikhail Bulgakov. |
