Born
in Buenos Aires, in 1970, his many prizes and stagings all over the
world make of him a clear representative of the new generation of
playwrights in Argentina.
He
begins his studies as an actor, but soon afterwards dedicates himself to
playwriting as well.
Among
his teachers we can mention playwright Mauricio Kartun
and director Ricardo
Bartis.
Since
1995 he has also worked as a director, mostly taking works written by
himself to the stage, and occasionally personal adaptations of texts by
other playwrights.
He
has also attended the Arts Career at the Faculty of Philosophy and
Literature of the University of Buenos Aires, but he quit his formal
studies in 1996 to fully dedicate to theatre.
